Here is where you will find all the interesting things that have happened throughout the years of the Mid-Plains League
In the (2014) inaugural season of the Mid-Plains League, Tyler Moore hits a walk off grand slam to left-field to give the East Division the victory over the West Division during the 2014 All-Star game taking place in Junction City, KS. This also happened to be the son of Micheal Moore, the future commissioner for the Mid-Plains League.
2022 saw the introduction of the Farmers organization to the Mid-Plains League. This is a team that is still going strong and stays a proud member of the Mid-Plains League.
2021 saw the introduction of the Lawrence Travelers, they were an ambitious team that folded at the end of the 2022 season.
2020 was special for these boys of summer. After being displaced from a ballpark due to Covid-19, they found temporary asylum in Lenexa, KS. It was there that they went on to win their first Cowdin Cup since the founding the league!
